John Beeson has just bought one, he's a keen fiddler; so to speak, but I dont really think that there's much that you can do with them - they're a bit unfashionable, to say the least.
Although not the nicest cars in the world, I have a soft spot for Mareas.
I think the saloon Marea with a very subtle spoiler with some nice alloys would look rather tasty.
When/if the Bravo dies, I'll prolly get one. I've been won over by the Marea I'm breaking - not driven it, but the boot is massive and its just like being in a Bravo in the cabin
Keen fiddler?! Can you not share my weekend antics with the rest of the group please Mr Ramjet
I wouldn't go as far as that. The only modifications I shall be doing will be minor and subtle....although, I cleaned the Bravo up today and i'm in two minds about keeping it again
I really like my Marea, always liked the Fiat saloons and have had several Tempras.
Modding mine at the moment for road rallying. Fitted the seats and harnesses tonight. Spots and new suspension tomorrow. Out competing for the first time this Saturday.
Heard a few laughs at the local motorsport club when I said what car I was using.
Just looks like a standard car at mo from outside. Hope to have bigger profile tyres, mudflaps and a sump guard fitted over the next few weeks.
Will sort some pics of the seats for you if you like and will update the forum after the event with more pics and how I got on for anyone thats interested.

Mines on its way, i have the weekend hlx with 17" oz wheels, a magnex 6x4 oval exhaust, i have the bonnet lifters and induction kit might be getting it lowered soon and changing the wheels to 18" audi replicas, i like it its quick and it makes a loveley noise ( i know RR doesn't like it but he is entitled to his own opinion) click the link to see the pics http://eurostyler.com/livepages/index32.htm go to the garage tab at the top of the link page and then other rides click the pic for more pics.

check out my Marea on www.fiatforum.com . Look in the gallery under notorious131, I reckon its the most modded Marea in the U.K.
Modded even more thanks to a kind and rather blind bus driver and I use the phrase "driver" in the loosest form possible.
I've seen more driver skill demonstrated by a dead rat....
