nice, any vid clips of it driving would like to hear what it sounds like , was it hard to/expensive to do ? wouldnt mind doing sumthing liek that to my hgt
Fair play and well done must have been alot of head scratching on the way. Just wondering, how did you map the ecu? are you running a live map? dastek or did you have to go balls out for a motec or similiar? What did you do to the internals? and what boost are you running... well done again though
do you notice the power gains?

ok, so far the car has not been maped, but the dastek is waiting to be fitted, the only problem is at full throttle its like a diesel (overfueling and lots of black smoke)
its been on the rollers and did 184bhp, as an aside i ran the car with the boost pipe disconected and it was 123bhp so 23bhp loss so i supose that means the charger is using 23bhp to run itself, if that makes sense.

my god its hideous lol. fair play with all that work tho. was that your wheels scraping at the end of the vid?
any mods carried out to the internals? so is that charger running on standard ecu then? by sounds of it you have experience with this charger and others previuosly? was it a biatch of a job to get this far?
No mods to the internals, just sensible driving,
Pease of piss to fit just a bit of angle iron and a lot of samco, it is runing on the standard ecu, but i have a dastek unichip ready to go on, complete with nitrous controle and launch controle

looks like you spent a bit of time there. i hope it dont go bang. i would get the dastek on and setup pretty sharpish. i would be surprised if it was under fueling on full clat unless you have changed the injectors and fpr!
still think a turbo lump is a safer bet and you dont get a headache from the belt noise
hgt maf underfuels, don't need turbo injectors the standard ones are more than up to the job

so all you have done to get this straight...
1 supercharger
1 intercooler
all pipework
1 cav v6 maf
and thats it?? bloody ell.. can i do this on my bravo 115????
or can you go into bit more detail?? sorry for dumb question..would be very interested in what it has cost you in total so far and all problems encountered so far?
Yep thats about it, total cost about £400, but it really does need a piggy back chip of some sort, i'm waiting to have my unichip fitted, the problem i have is the bloke whoes doing it for me is doing it as a favour, so i cant push him, I'll put some picks up of the fitting in a min

although the body mods arent necessarily to my liking (more the colour scheme actually) i have to say the engine has tickled my fancy quite alot! and all so cheap aswell... anyone know of any bargin HGT's about? lol
BIT harsh there lads,on both counts,i like the look of your car Colin in black in the above pics the arches look better in black as does the hole car.
A proper spray in black and put the fogs back in,and it would transform the car, just my taste though each to there own and all that.
Top marks on the rest of the work though, but the winning of that belt would get to after a while i think? then again could always just floor it to take my mind away from it Hee he.
Cheers Scotty

"BIT harsh". You might as well had said his car looks rubbish too saying what you'd change! A paint job, is a big job!
well it's been a long time since i updated this thread, so here we go for a mini update. the car has been running for 10 months now with the only problem being a dead altenator. so a couple of picks for you
Battery now in the spare wheel well with the gas bottle
which means i'v been able to redo the pipework
and the other big change, new front seats, and no back seats
