and no it isnt my tracking!

well my car tried to kill me today!!!

i set off from the stables and drove about 3 miles with absolutely no problems or funny noises and didnt go over any bumps or down any potholes when all of a sudden completely out of the blue the steering wheel started to shake and the car dragged me really hard into the kerb!!!!! it was really hard to keep the car going straight and this happened for about a quarter of a mile (as i was trying to get the car home). but it only seemed to do it when accelerating and not letting off the gas or braking then i went round a sharp lefthand bend, followed by a sharp righthand bend and then it stopped and was fine again. i got home and my car was parked up for about 3 hrs and when i got in it to go back to the yard i only drove about 100yds when it started knocking from the front left hand side (wheel i think) so i immediately sh*t myself and took it back home. i checked the wheels and they are not loose so does anybody have any idea what it could be?

well i was goign to say sticking brake pad/ piston, or a stone behind the pad causing it to stay on or come on, braking just that wheel.

but it's a strange thing.... it could be a stone or summit moving about fouking on the wheel as thats the only thing i can think of.

A CV joint of Driveshaft is the next thing..... are the Joints all ok, no split rubber boots??

pardon my french but i bet you sh!t urself wen it happened cos I've had summit simular and i was left spinning up the road at 60mph and luckely just ended up on the verge unharmed!!

Bloody bravo's!!!
