Hi guys,

Know some of you are experts in the world of I.T, I think my mac hard drive has died and desperately need the data off it. Does anyone here do or know some one that does hard drive recovery?

depending on how the drive has failed, it can get very expensive very quickly

if you have another Mac you can plug it in via firewire and then put the one with the damaged drive into special mode (cant remember the name), hold Apple key + E on boot up.

it'll show up as a drive on the working mac and then you ay be able to recover data.

other than that i have no idea, i dont use Mac's much.

think i've given you some duff info there, its called Target Mode so its probably Apple key + T

Cheers for your help, tried the puting into target disk mode but the other mac cant find it. I think my drive is a gonner!
