Could any of your guys help me, I have a 1999 1.8 HLX and it has a rattle under the car, I have been told it is a heat shield, it is not the exhust as that is only 4 months old, it only rattles when I start the car and go over bumps because of that I dont think its the exhust either as doesnt rattle all the time or when im just drivin down the road. Ok so to my point could anyone give me some advise on how to fix it or how to find where it is coming from as well.

it'll be the heat sheild knocking on the exhaust, i find it usually starts after driving in heavy rain as it bends the heatsheild.

you need to find where it is close and could be knocking and then bend it back a bit.
