Hi.

Bravo S 1.4 (R reg)

Ignition went the other day blowing the 10amp fuse under the bonnet (by brake fluid reservoir). Changed fuse, ignition works (i.e. lights and fuel pump) but wont turn the car over. Currently hot wiring to turn the starter. Any quick fixes or do I need a new ignition. Do you think I can get away with changing just the switch part of the ignition??

Cheers

Dave

The starter works but only if I hot wire not via the ignition. The fuse that went was a 10 amp which is located next to the ignition and fuel pump relay in the engine compartment (net to brake fluid reservoir (1996 model)

Check the bit fuses under the bonnet and check the in car fuses.
The fuse that has blown is for fuel pump, lambda and injector and vapor solenoid.
