part request/name help required!June 2 2009 at 1:16 PM | Dave (no login) from IP address 82.108.227.194 |
| hi.
the part im lookign for is on the exhaust manfiold
it is the metal pipe that is connected./between the radiator hose and water pump
underneath the coolant
at the moment my car is leaking coolant daily, and the pipe after putting it on ramps shows it being rusted and a tiny hole where the leak is
however i do not know how to describe this to fiat for a part replacement!

Can you describe in detail where it is and where it goes to and from? Is it a hose? Metal pipe? etc. What side of the engine looking from where? Does it carry coolant, air, oil?
Is your Bravo 1.2 a CF2 or CF3?
I'm looking for the part but need more information. |

that coudl be it josek
very good image, where u get it from>?
it carries the coolant and is dripping water from a place on the metal pipe, its slightly rusted so can understand why its doing that
trouble is, explaining that to fiat lol
but i dont wish to get this wrong..also although that looks right..you can never exactly tell if it is..but there arent other pipes .. |

Dave can you give me detail as mentioned previously as to where it is? Where it comes from and where it goes? (In detail please). I.e From water pump, it passes infront of the engine/manifold going from the left to the right and drops down at a 90 degree angle and connects to the lower opening of the radiator tank etc etc.
You state the pipe is part of the manifold, then later it goes under the engine on the passenger side??? Im getting confused. Just describe in detail where it comes from, where it passes and where it goes too. I doubt it goes under the engine.
Also if you can give me your chassis number I can find out if its a CF2 or CF3. Also does your car have air con?

Hi Dave
As joske says. Also have a good look at the pipe as the part number is almost certainly embossed on it if it is metal. |

i think ill need to put it on ramps again for a clearer idea!
lookin at the spillage on the floor its def in the middle (slightly near the drivers side) of the car. (sorry for confusion()
seems to be behind the metal mask cover (which loosk like a hockey mask lol)
