got a new key for my bravo....i know how to do the programing for the immoblizer but does anyone know how i can program it so i can use it with the standard alarm and central locking.

Yeah. Do you have the four digit alarm code for any working blue key on your car? If the answer is no, then sadly we can't program the new key to the alarm.

would the code possibly be in the manuals that i got with the car....the alarm fob that i have doesnt work the switch has gone missing.

Could be, however they where only given with MK2 Bravo's on little paper tags on the key.

joske i was looking at my original broken key and noticed a code printed on the key could this be it?

Is it 4 digit, i.e. 2.1.3.4

it has 4 digits but it begins with Bxxx. Never mind what i will prob do then is take the button switch and try and solder it onto my old key and hope it works

Ah well that wont be it then. Good luck with the soldering and be careful. I resoldered my switch a few months back when it fell apart.
