hey peoples i picked up a new car for the summer :D

its a megane 2.0l ragtop

mines sweet man, had it like nearly a month now. and alls sweet.

everything works as it should and goes as it should happy.gif


im gonna respray it white and have black wheels and lower it with sideskirts and a smoothed front and rear bumper to keep it oem+

then sell it on before next summer. as ive just tught myself to spray wicked :D

its loverly to drive really is. only complaint is the steering is a bit weird and not as tight as a hatchback but have to just accept that cause its missing the regidity of a hard roof.

the wheels im thinking about 16" clio 172 wheels sprayed black.

Nice looking motor Dave, though I'd have to agree those aftermarket alloys are rank and probably worse than the originals...

On a similar note, bought me one of these a couple of weeks ago

Got it reasonably cheap because it had HG failure (as many do at some point)
Got it home, had the head checked, and its goosed. Its had a new HG fitted last year and its not been done properly. So its new engine time!
If anyone sees a cheap 160bhp MG engine with low miles (original had 38k on 2003 plate) please drop me an email.
Will be selling it soon after its fixed probably, as i suspect its going to cost considerably more to put right than i'd planned originally.
