smooth engine sounds liek a tractor??

any idea?
1.2 petrol braov 2001
once i start the engine its chugging like a tractor

and it sorts itself out..but its quite bad
cold start i presume but its not exactly winter conditions nows.

posible causes?

Sounds like bad plugs.

And the car started acting like that before or after service ?

was ok after service!

before service it did have this in the winter but was fixed..

Iwould go with new plugs and see then. Sounds like one or more are a bit faulty. Also have you ever replaced the leads ?

maybe, but could also relate to oil pump strainer blockage. it all depends on what sort of tractor sound it makes. its not easy to diagnose unless its heard.

my vehicle sounds like a tractor always, but then its an old skool diesel.
