If you like the sound of the induction kit i'd keep it. There are supposed to be performance gains from having an induction kit over the standard box. I've no idea how great the gain is for each particular model though.

BTW you will have to specify the induction kit on the insurance.

on a 1.2 80sx power gain is 0%. just noise.

best gains from panel filter (k&n) and cold air feed from under front bumper area direct to intke of box.

pp . Hi Ed! long time.

i have decided to keep induction kit on. Sounds like a v10 at high revs.lol. And it seems to make it bit quicker.and doesnt use muc more fuel.

How much for the Pipercross?

I have a K&N Induction (1.2 16v) for sale, only went on the car for a month then due to a mindless driver doing U Turns in Bradford i had to Get rid of the 1.2 16V for a 1.8 HLX =]

This is probably a really daft question, BUT, would it mess with the engine if I put the 1.2 K&N on instead of the 1.8 one. Only asking coz from what I can see, there is no difference in the filters in appearance?

Any offers for the filter welcome, it has been recharged too =]

Ditch the standard airbox. Ive modified a k&n from a punto 85 to fit with a 1.2 16v bravo with a direct air feed. The result is about an extra 4 bhp and IS noticable..... Search the vids up on youtube as proof
