I've had TomTom 6 on my N95 for a year or so and it worked well with the internal GPS unit using the bt/GPSd tools. But now I'm also using an E71 and from what I've read the patch doesn't work for the E71.

Tried downloading Route 66 and Garmin XT but they're both giving me non-signed errors, I've tried self signing usinghttps://www.symbiansigned.com and GenialSis, symbiansigned is giving me an error about the UID of the file and GenialSis(I think is just a client for symbiansigned) is just halting on me.

Any ways around this? Or any suggestions of other navigation software worth a try?

Ok well installing Tomtom is rather pointless now on the Symbian phone platform like the N(5 or similar as the maps are now a good few years old and will not be updated in the future.

Garmin XT and Nokia Maps are actually pretty good sat nav programs.

For me to understand where your problem lies, first tell me is your Nokia E71 hacked??? I.e. is the firmware hacked so you can read all files, including Nokia system files.

If not email me (under my name) and i will talk you through how to do it. Once hacked all programs that are unsigned or signed will work on your phone regardless.
