Hi there i've had a look for the battery there's a few models of the yellow top.The difference being size and power. The cheapest i could find the OPTIMA YELLOW TOP DEEP CYCLE BATTERY 4.2 55 Ah for is in the link. Two would cost £330 delivered. The second link seems like you could get a bargain. It's for a Optima Yellow Top YT S 5.5 i've seen some company's selling it around the £250 mark just for one?.The seller has not put pics up yet but it say's quantity 2 on the listing. It's more powerful than the other battery.I've put in the link's below refering to it.Sorry for the rant hope this help's good luck.

Not expecting much from it.

Just thinking that the Coupe sits around a lot and does have a slight drain on the battery over a period of time.

Although I appreciate the drain will occur given any battery, the rationale is that the yellow top will hang in there a bit longer when circumstances arise.

It will drain like any other battery, the difference is you'll be able to revive it.

If the car is sitting the best bet is still to disconnect the battery.

I've been using a yellow top for years.

It's been in everything from the JTD with amps sapping power, to the 20vt that i used once a month and as of late my dads old land rover.

it's about 4yrs old.... and still like new in terms of performance.

I don't use the yellow top anymore tho.. so it sits in the shed ready to jump start summit!!!

red tops give more power.... starting power... high level discharge.

yellow tops give less ooomph but are deep cycle, so last a very very very very very long time from full to empty
