I personally always like boot builds where everything is built into the floor all all you can see is the sub and perhaps the amp through a perspex window.
Found this link which is similar(ish) to what I'm thinking of.
i copied a guy called joske although it seems his turned out better! lol
i know its not really a build, but, what can you really do with one sub? and if you did what chris r is suggesting (although it looks well good) then where would you put your spare?
the box i built could've been smaller, which would have used the space better, but , this is my 1st attempt and ill probably look into making another wakier box in the future. i was thinking of making a box that would fit diagonally across the corner

It comes apart. have a can of that tyre weld but to be honest I've never had to use the spare and the bulbs have not blown in 7 years.

I'm as amazed as you Shaun but yes, never had to change a bulb. Then again, this is coming from the car that did over 60k on the same set of brake pads.

it does look good joske, but its not that i dont like copying, i just dont like having the same as everyone else.
its still an option though

I was gonna do a false floor but looking at how little room i would have after it was pointless.
My other option was to make a pyramid style box to fit in one corner with one sub but again that went out the window as I wanted to utilise both subs.

I designed a boot build for my Bravo but never got around to completing it, it's was a false floor jobby on hinges so the spare was accessible.
In your case I'd chuck the tyre and the rest keeping only the towing eye, RAC cover and as Oz suggests some tyre weld.
Can you even use the standard jack under your car anyway?

teh Subs and Amp that Dave is selling is my old gear, the plan was to build a sql comp spec system and should have been easily capable of 170 ish + db. to say they were brutal was an understatement...
