the best thing i ever did was fit coilovers on my bravo, the ride is soooo stiff and it handles like a dream i can hold the car through most bends and 60mph and it hold without a problem. no lean through corners nothing. but i have sacrifised alot of comfort. yes the ride it good, but with 17"low profile tyres the last thing u wanna do it get in ur car with a head ache.

i had a girl in my car the other night and by the time we got back to hers her tits were rather sore...so u dont score much points there...

I've fitted Bilstein B14 pss to my Alfa GT on 18" wheels (225/40/18).

At first I was silly and dropped it 60mm. It was ridiculously hard and I found myself going slower down the more bumpy rural roads.

I raised it another 20mm and the ride is much better, it no longer crashes out on the bigger holes/bumps and the handling has probably improved now that the shocks have more to play with. The ride wasn't great to begin with due to the large wheels and the small tyres.

However, I wouldn't advise them on a daily driver/commuting car, for that I'd go for a less foccused approach to retain some comfort.

Gazzella Racing online....where I got both my sets of FK's from. Endless lowering and no bone shaking ride.

Incidentally mine finally came off the car yesterday. Prob will be a week before they go on ebay tho as I need to take pics and list em and I'm going away for a week meantime.

Ciao

£600 is weak for coilovers. Your better of with sports kit. £400-£500 on Koni or KW Sports. FK Silverline X are very stiff and rust up, great handling but probamalitic & rough. I would rather have top of the range Sports than cheap coilovers. If you want coilovers pay out the £1100 for KW V2's. All depends on what the car is used for.
