As a few of you know through facebook my girlfriend is pregnant, so for the first time i will become a dad, we`re playing the waiting game now as the due date is today so only time will tell,
we`ve pretty much got everythin we need and i`m looking foward to this, so excited already and can`t wait (the only thing that bothers me is i can`t have a drink over the weekend just in case i have to drive to the hospital)

congrats. best thing that ever happened to me. my son was 3 on friday, and he's the best entertainer i've seen!better than the tv.as i'm writing this, he's running around the living room in his Buzz Lightyear outfit, pretending to be Buzz. i'll be going through it all again in september, her indoors is due our second child.. happy days.

the moment you see your son/daughter for the first time, it'll change your perspective on life.nothing else will matter(even your beloved fiat!)

To reiterate what "orangebravo" said, children will indeed change your life and your outlook on life, as well as many strongly held beliefs and it will be instant and you probably won't remember how things were before you had them.

Not that any of that is a bad thing

You will find yourself getting angry with the world around you, berating idiocy and irresponsibility wherever you see it. You will become fiercely protective of not only your new family, but of anything that surrounds them.

Things that you never had an opinion on will all of a sudden matter, and matter A LOT.

But this is the nature of parenthood. It is in our nature to protect our offspring, to preserve our genes, to ensure their advancement. You will receive new clarity on what really matters in life and that we, as human beings, are the only ones who affect life. It's nothing to do with imaginary friends that live in the sky. It's us. Just us. And we need to make sure that when our children ask us why things are the way they are sometime in their future, that we have a damned good answer for them.

Prepare for the most amazing experience of your life. Prepare for the most amazing change of your life. But above all, be prepared to enjoy every little fecking moment of it

just lettin you all know, little Ria was born at 5:47 this mornin, had to be c-section however both mum and daughter are fine but very tired, includin me
i`m glad to say my daughter is lookin very cute when i see at the hospital, i`m very happy if a little tired
