hi guys/girls,
im in need of some help as my brake warning light is on and im getting really worried that im going to push the pedal and nothing will happen?!?! :S
this is what happened,
after fitting some 20mm spacers, i decided to take my car for spin down some country lanes, when i went back to my car this morning the brake warning light came on, so i consulted the manual and all it said is
"do not exceed the maximum levels"
so i managed to syphen some fluid out but the light is still on, any ideas what else it could be? the brake system was renewed when it went for its MOT (new pads, discs and shoes),but, i checked them anyway and they all seem to be fine, infact there is no difference in braking compared to what it was like when the light wasnt on.

please help any ideas are welcome!!!

thanks in adance, james

might be your brake pad wear light, sometimes short. just disconnect it. could also be the switch on the handbrake or even the switch in the master cylinder, once again disconnect the plug, the light will go out on the faulty wire or switch
