lowered my car...

well that was suppose to be what happened!

i changed the springs on the back of my car last night (i ordered some weitec springs, that claimed they lower the car by 35mm rear and 55mm front) ive only managed to do the springs on the back due to running out of day as i started late! but the car hasnt changed in appearance at all, i thought a 35mm drop on the back would be noticeable?!?!
so now i dont want to put the front ones on if they arent going to make any difference!(or make a huge difference and have the back look standard, i know people are talking about rake being the "IN" thing to do, but that would be far too much, wouldnt you agree?)
my mate suggested allowing them to settle, but, its been left over night now and nothing has happened!!should i wait longer?

has anyone lowered their car, using just spings, if so could they put up some pics, stating what its been lowered by and what equipment was chosen?

any advice would be very welcome!

thanks in advance

Yeah your mate is right, you need to let them settle. Your car will take ages to lower itself via gravity. Go for a drive, with a friend or two in the back.

Why the dragster look though anyway? 35mm at the rear and 55mm at the front.

what (size) wheels/tyres do you have? will you still be able to steer without catching with a 55mm drop on the front??

spring will take a while to settle properly, and thats whilst driving on a daily basis.

Has the car been moved at all since taking it off the jack? sometimes if you lower the car down to the ground with handbrake on, it holds the car in a higher position.

springs are always higher at the back, my old car sat higher at the back, i ended up cutting a coil out of the rear springs

before you mention i know your not supposed to but it never did me any harm for 3 years of owning it

it just made the car look level

they usually take a while to settle in anyway

I think the bravo sits higher at the back as standard. As the lads said they'l need time to settle, take it for a drive.
