well the time has come to start gathering insurance quotes for my moded marea and i have so far got a qoute from adrian flux for £347.28 fully comp and protected with 9 years no claims bonus with all mods declared but the only thing with it is they dont allow you to drive any other vehicle 3rd party and i asked why and they said its there policy and can only possible add it when it comes to renewing next year
so does this sound a fair quote and what other companies should i get a quote with

cheers

Try Chris Knott and tell them the AF quote. They will try and undercut them.

many thanks for the reply guys im glad im 33 as well £11000 is a tad expensive for insurance definately worth more than the car

well i have spoken to chris knotts and they have qouted £10 cheaper but there excess is like £350 where as £150 with adrian flux

well been on the net and phone searching for more quotes and i managed to find a company called SKY INSURANCE and they deal with modified cars and also offer 20% discount to owners clubs so i was pleased when they quoted me £316 fully comp and protected

so i hope this will help some of you with your quotes

well finally after tralling the internet and spending hours on the phone i have managed to get my original quote from adrian flux of £347.28
down to £300 from chris Knotts so a job well done and im extremely happy all mods declared and only a £150 excess to

many thanks to insy for pushing me in the direction of chris knott i owe u a drink me thinks cheers

so a total saving of £47 so it definately show its worth shopping around to get the best quotes
from what i have found out the 3 main companies that do modified cars are:
Adrain Flux
Chris Knott
Sky insurance
sky are very good on prices they under priced chris knott with no problems at all and then chris knott matched it with slightly better terms
many thanks for all the imput cheers everyone
