how do you know if your front stabilisers have gone? because ive started to hear a lot of rattling on the left wheel when going over humps or rough surface roads?

If by stabiliser you mean the anti-roll bar (ARB) links then it sounds like they are gone, you can pick em up pretty cheap off ebay and the like, and are only 2 bolts so nice n easy to change.

I had a knocking in my marea when i first got it, changed the ARB links and it sorted the problem.
