Been getting aquainted with the peeps over on AlfaOwner and the Lincs branch might be up for a bit of Itaifisti rivalry next year at a karting event. Given that we have been to and know Ancaster is tops I have put forward the suggestion that we have a challenge with them.

Last time we also had camping but I'll let the man in the know tell us if it would be available so given that it was about £45 each for karting and BBQ (I think) last time and will be in Lincolnshire near Grantham who is up for it?

New contenders should be interesting. Bonza Wim went away this year with his grandparents to Alcudia. THere was a kart track on site in the sun. Apparantly he was pretty darn good. That good his grandad had a quiet word with me asking to look at some karting clubs in the area. 14yrs old = no fear. Dale is Ali's lad. Not sure how he will be at karting as he is a pretty tall chap. However, I'm sure he'll enjoy the evening as he enjoys the occasional Magners.

However, the pair of them may go mental late on with no xbox in the tent

Tommy - stay off the track when the kids are on My lad has already made an accusation of attempted murder from Gaydon a couple of years back

Kate - if you dont feel like karting - dont kart!!! As long as you are there for all the banter and the drinky poos in the evening thats good enough for all of us. NOBODY has to do the karting if they dont fancy it.

come on guys, tommy i have a trailer tent, would i be able to bring it? its pretty big so if it rains we could cram in to the awning,

unless i find some 'spare' cash ill be coming in the van (again)

Well a year does give me the chance to lose some of this pie related ballast I have found myself lumbered with... Always good to have something to aim for (Tommy's rear bumper not included )

I think the deliberate puntting off of Kate by Dan has put kate off karting for life!!


Althought the camakazi run by my sister onto him was entertaining!!!!!


I think we might end up at this rate having to take over the whole track for a good number of hours, as we might be able to drum up a good amount of support.....

...plus we might need to rev up 2 BBQ's to keep up with demand!!

Chugging in a knackered kart.  However,once I got in a good kart I think I managed to push one team in to the medals by lapping the majority of drivers

keep it for the track boys!!

As for BOO or AO, that's a tough one. My heart says BOO but my head says AO (be like a handicap for them. ) Having said that, it's against AO Lincs so as I'm not from Lincs gives me a good excuse to drive for BOO.

We'll see how the weight loss goes.

Even got a wall planner that runs until Aug 2010 so I can fully chart my weight loss for this event (ok, so the chart isn't specifically for that, and I'm unlikely to lose any weight... but the intention is there and the intention means business!)
