i changed the ecu and imobilizer on bravo hgt (1996) and got only the master key with the new ecu. now when starting the car with the master key , every third time the CODE lamp stays on. The car starts normally no matter. But i heard that you shouldn't start the car with the red key, only with the blue ones. Is that true ? I have 2 blue keys from my old ecu, so can i somehow program them to start the car ?
Thank you.

Starting with the red key is normal. Its the master key if you need to program new keys to the car - usually. New keys can be done, but to reprogram the old ones - no.

well how much i got from here:
http://www.fiatforum.com/bravo-brava-marea-faqs/100562-red-blue-keys.html
and reading through the same forum the red key should not be used for starting and driving around. And the blue keys aren't really being programed at all ,it is the ecu being programed to allow the code from the blue keys for starting the car . So with this
http://www.fiatforum.com/bravo-brava/87064-need-new-fiat-bravo-key-v412lae.html#post948274
procedure i could program my old blue keys to start the new ecu.
Am i right ? ( cross fingers that i am )
