Car keeps idling funny, spluttering and cuts out sometimes at junctions because the revs drop too low. Today the injection light came on so was going to have a tinker with the sensors.

Sensor diagram .... what you need is a diagnostic check, then you will know 100% what the problem is. All other steps would be wasting time or just guessing.
