Ive been told its not easy to get and fit a HID kit to the standard bravo lights? and that it would be easier to get Marea lights fitted and get HID's for them?
can someone set the story straight for me because i dont fully understand?
hids should only be fitted to xenon type headlights i.e the marea polys and not to normal headlights as if fitted to normal light the bulbs can blind the oncoming driver and also they are being made illegal from 2011 anyway from what i had heard and read.
i spoke to my local mot guy and he said that they are going to be making aftermarket hids illegal and they can tell easy enough with them fitted to normal lights abit harder if fitted to polys

oh ok i understand. thanks mate.
whats your opinion then? would it be worth getting polys and they getting HIDs for them? or not worth it with the ban on them possibly coming soon?
I've got a set of pollys in the shed - you can buy them at the same time as the body kit if you want

they dont just look daft, they fricken blind ya..i had a rant on FF about hid's bein fitted to normal headlights, pain in the arse when a car is behind u.
If theyre bein made ilegal then just upgrade to marea poly's and get some nightbreaker's off ebay, theyre supposed to be next best thing in bulbs for lighting
From next december this will be a mot failure apparently, anything hid retro fitted will be, but i can't see how they will enforce it to be honest, it also states that any car that has been re-mapped or chipped will also be a automatic fail and also airbag lights being on will also be a fail.

im not sure what they are mate lol.
every time a bulbs gone on mine ive gone round to my mate and had him sort it 4 free. lol.
i'll just have a look into the bulbs for standard lights i think. if HIDs are going to be made to be an MOT failure then theres no way round it, a tester will be able to see the converter for them from the other side of the garage!
guna get them ordered tomorrow. do u use them? Are they really that much better than the standards?

I use them in H4 on my van and (for once) they actually do what they say on the box!! Massive improvement over standard H4 bulbs so should be pretty good in H1s too.
Jord i havnt mate, theyre in my watch list still lol Just have more important things to worry about but i will be getting some after new year
* i do hope they work well with the poly's as you dont get much light on the rd with them being projectors, just shine better infront.I get more light on the rd coming from the focus lol

mike is that link for bulbs for the standard bravo lights? or marea polys?
i aren't sure what the fitment is for bravo standard lights.
i thought standard fitment were H7's,so i went on ebay and there are loads of listing for brava/bravo in H1's,i tried googling and couldnt find much.
Either look in a book or ring fiat mate
