I just wanted to say that I think all of you guys that ran today were fantastic. It was so freezing cold, my fingers are even having trouble typing, unthawing from giving the UT sign so much at mile 12.
I think everyone who ran out there did an amazing job. It takes a strong mentality, a lot of heart, and discipline to set your sights on and achieve a goal like running a marathon....yeah....wow.
I'm sure most of you will take a much needed break, and then continue to run again. All runners know that they just have to keep running; it's like some kind of warped gene we have. If you are interested in adding some spice to your training I highly encourage considering to train for triathlons. Triathlon season is approaching. And if you are disable when it comes to swimming, as am I, the triathlon club has people offering clinics, and getting in a swim class really helps.
Well, once again I congratulate all of the finishers. Hopefully, my crazy schedule will allow me to be more frequent at practices again. Special shout out to all the CS people out there who finished as well...as you have seen it's hard for us to even socialize properly much less finish a marathon, haha.
      GREAT JOB OUT THERE!!!!!!
You should all be very proud of yourselves,
-Breelyn (mile 12 UT marathon cheerleader)
