Response to golden age of 225's....

A long time ago, when Hector was a pup, I had the privilege of being the Region 10 225 Chairman. This was back in the late 70s and early 80s. Here is a list of our west coast 225s. Sometimes the #s and names changed (and of course owners), but this is pretty complete.

N-11 Mighty Showcase, Lanny Lindros, Buick, Jones

N109 Northwind, Mike Mills, Ford, Campbell (under restoration)
N-170 Just-Fork-It, Bill Zike, Ford, (D or E?) Karelsen
N767 Black Bart, Buell Wood, Ford, Jones (former N-414 Eds Capade)(Destoryed)
N-747 Wild Waves, Norm Mosier, Ford/Buick V6, Hanson (Hold 225 record of 107.60 for 1 2/3, plus the 1 ¼ and 1 records) (currently being modified to run 2.5 mod)

Im pretty sure there were more, but these are the ones that I know about. Many are still around and running in our Region 10 vintage circuit. Some have returned to the east coast to run the waters back there.

Many are starting to show up on this vintage site telling about finding them and current restoration plans.
