Response to 70's Jones Deuce and a Quarters

Hi Patty. Yes, when The Admiral bought Ted's boat at the February St. Pete race, that was the third paint scheme. The original paint job when the boat was called the "Golden Greek",was done by Molly out of California(as were the Speculation's). The Golden Greek burned to the waterline, I think at Ford Lake. The 2nd paint job which is what you see in the current photo. The boat was repaired by Jones in California, repainted and renamed " Goodie Wagon". That 2nd finished was redone not long after yours truly took the boat to Florida from the Detroit Autorama in subfreeezing cold weather. The decks cracked. Turns out the fiberglass underlayment was very thick. After Freddy Denhart ( 8 mile road in Redford or Detoit) put on the finish that was on the boat when Jim purchased it, the boat was 100 pounds lighter. The Goodie Wagon name was suggested by one of Ted's babe, after he told her how much money was wrapped up in it.(bragged?)Arriva dechee.
