What a great event, big hydro's mahogany racers, a few flat bottom's, Miss Mandella gave 2 "never thought they would do it" rides, A real class act, at a great lake, with exception of the wind it was a heck of an event. A long ride, but well worth the trip.
Fred Alter had the Miss Vernor's running, Sunday, the legend Duff Daily, brought the GN "Oh Mona" with a new blown hemi, and ran all 4 heats, I actually beleive he only drove as I beleive the next Daily in line drove a few heats....
The event was run like a swiss clock, air show unique, car show with over 200 show cars, tram service to every venue, and a fabulous dinner Saturday evening.
It's time to add this event to your 2010 schedule, you will not be disappointed.
