That's why JB and I felt we had to keep replying over and over. Go back and re-read your entries and then read our replies carefully - we have been trying to tell you that in the examples that you were giving that you were taking away other people's choices just because you couldn't understand them.
Example: you just assumed that ALL people HAVE to be more comfortable with their shirt off in 90 degree weather. And when JB said that not all men take off their shirts in 90 degree weather, JB was trying to show that even when having the "choice" to go shirtless, some men don't go shirtless, and therefore it disrupts your theory about "mental programming". In the same example you had made personal assumptions that ALL people would be more comfortable with their shirts off in 90 degree weather - I tried to tell you that it isn't fair for you to make this choice for them.
So, that's why we kept replying - because you were taking options away from others, whether you realized or not. If you go back and check, you'll find that I never stated that I was against women having the choice to take their shirts off - in fact, I was stating the right for all people to have the choice to wear what that want without being question as to why they are doing so. |
