Response to re-touching
I just hope you never read the posting by Gentry. You deserve better.
You have shared a very difficult and traumatic time in your life with us, mainly strangers - it cannot have been easy. I hope you believe that most people on BFF want to reach out to you and hug you.
You have exposed your vulnerabilities and you have been very candid and honest about your reactions. I just hope for your sake it never came to anything more than what you describe.
Hopefully what you have told us will help others. It is good that you were able to go 'public'.
Of course you should be afraid, that is only natural. As far as your children go - talk to them, now. Not necessarily about what happened to you personally, but about what they may be exposed to. Tell them not to feel ashamed but to feel free to come to you and tell you about anything like that should it ever ever happen to them. Tell them that you will help them and protect them and love them.
