I often wonder how many people even know who they are voting for. I think too many voters vote on the way someone looks or because of some (often misleading TV commercial. And it always amused me that you see signs all around saying "Vote for-"(who-ever). Why should I vote for someone just because a sign told me to?
If voters had to pass a IQ and knowledge test, we might have a lot fewer voters but better candidates winning.
On the other hand, I've always said anyone smart enough to run for public office is smart enough not to.
