Not anymore. Surgeons are making a semi-circular incision around the areola to minimize the appearance of scar tissue post-op. The tell tale scarring of breast augmentation was almost always on the underside of the breast or towards the armpit. But the doctors seem to believe that the scar can be hidden better at the outline of the areola.
