Response to Worship
Yes, I gather that. Christians relate to 'Christ'. However sects of Christians appear to place importance on specific aspects of 'faith'. The mother of God, The latter day saints, the passover, the crucifix, the fish, the Templers, the archbishop, the 'young baby', the priest who all represent that belief.
The Templer movement protected the traveller because Christ himself was a traveller.
One belief is that Satan was an archangel who lost his wings when he gave man knowledge (the serpent again?) and lost his wings. In the church in Scotland (Rosslyn)which is associated with the Templers, this is depicted as an 'upsidedown angel'.
If you respect the snake this is only because God willed Satan to do this work. This may be the reason for the origin of Satanism.
