Maybe, but property taxes are based upon the size of the house and land, and a family of six take a much larger house than a couple, and use a lot more electricity and eat a lot more food...I could go on...believe me, Nat, I know about frugality and tightwaddery, and I was a lot more of both when I was alone. I follow everyone around now turning off lights and ceiling fans, and wondering why the bills keep getting bigger. I know each child gets a credit on our taxes, but they don't make a single penny differance on the property taxes, and those are the killer. Families deserve all the breaks they can get.
