I have been kind of thinking about the germ thing and hand shakes more just recently. Here's why...we met another cyclist the other day, very nice, very polite, and we have been on a ride with him already. Now here is why I am phobing out a bit. Cyclists wear gloves, right? We wear them for exactly two reasons in the summer, and three in the winter. The main reason is to reduce vibration in the hands. Warmth in winter. And the other reason that is common knowlege amounst the cycling community is they are something to wipe your runny nose on. Yes, cyclists get runny noses year round. And there is a fuzzy patch along the thumb side of the glove just for this purpose, and no other. Our new cyclist friend is a hand shaker! What are ya going to do?
