"... L-shaped thing with two wheels."
i know what you're talking about. that's too big and less efficient for carrying driveway stones than doing it manually. to alleviate the grunt work of construction would take some expensive and complicated machinery. some of which haven't been invented yet.
"If you want to narrow things down to make a point, fine, but narrow them down enough."
i narrowed my statement to only dealing with construction work in the post you're refering to. i think that's narrow enough.
MY LIST OF JOBS WITH GENDER PREFERENCES:
work that require office teamwork: both but slight advantage to female cause they're better communicators.
engineer: male cause have advantage with spatial ability. exception is michaela who can park a big bus very well.
nurse: more geared toward female cause they're more emphatetic to others situation. peter is the exception. i heard he's good at his job.
throwing a ball: male. *women have trouble locking their wrist. locking wrist is probably also useful in construction work.
wet nurse/breastfeeding: women
seeing how far you can pee off a building: male.
athletes: decision should be based on ticket sales. need to be discussed in a seperate post.
* there's a great program i enjoyed. it's a discovery channel 2-disc dvd called "science of the sexes". it references a lot of new studies about the differences between men and women. i enjoyed it so much, i took notes. definatelly recommended by me.
