I don't know there intent, but their choice is weird. You can bet that the parents DID think something of it. Maybe they didn't say anything, but you know they are wondering.

Boys swimming at the YMCA and at summer camp, and young men walking about nude in college dorms between the bathroom facilities are all quite different than sleeping nude in a darkened bedroom together.
It all doesn't compute. Why wouldn't one of the men just sleep on the couch? Why does he ignore his girl friends concerns over the issue, and say it is her problem only? Why does John-Paul bring it up here at BFF? He is probably wanting someone to tell him that what they did was okay, or he wants someone to tell him they are gay. I'm not going to tell them that, but it is a strange situation. I still think the girl friend is in a bad relationship. Yes, I come to that conclusion based on this story alone. It is significant!
