<<Do you believe in everything that your branch of christianity says that you should and should not do? If not does that make you a hypocrite?>>
Yes I do believe in the Churches teachings!
<<You claim to be a Christian but the bible teaches that birth control is wrong.>>
The Bible does NOT teach that birth control is wrong. It doesn't say anything about birth control. If you think it does, show me where. Therefore, the Orthodox Church does not condemn the use of birth control. But the Church is against abortion. The Bible doesn't specifically speak about abortion. It all falls under the command that THOU SHALL NOT KILL.
<<Did you have sex before marriage? The bible condems that. Does that make you a christian in name only if you ever strayed before you got married.>>
Whether or not I had sex before marriage is between me and God, and none of your fucking business. What would one 'stray' from, their virginity? I think you mean fornicate. That is forbidden. Sex is researved for married people only, but if one finds themselves in a situation where passion gets the better of them, at least they haven't KILLED! And if one is a presidential candidate in the midst of a debate, and he boasts that he is a Catholic (hoping to get the Catholic vote), and then in the same breath boasts he is pro-abortion, (hoping to get the women to vote), then he is not in communion with his Church.
I don't expect you to even know what I am talking about, because I don't know if you are even Churched. |
