Because I want to give you the benefit of the doubt (it's also a phrase, not a word, and so not in the dictionary). Normally "pro-" means to being in support of or encouraging something, so on the face of it "pro-A" is not the same as "pro-B" unless A is a synonym for B (otherwise, it would be impossible for me to believe that I have a right to suicide if I am still living).

If you're arguing that they are, despite that, then there must be something I'm not understanding about what you mean.
