I agree. There are a number of rich northerns who have vacation homes around here that would be mansions to the average person. One not far from me has a three story atrium with a hugh indoor swimming pool right in the middle of the house! Yet these big lavish homes often sit empty most of the year while their owners jet around the country.
I really think people need to use homes if they are going to own them. Its a waste to let it sit around empty most of the year when there are so many homeless people out there who could take advantage of it. The least they could do is let some people live in it for the times when theyre not there staying in it so at least its having some useful purpose.
Then drive 30 or 40 miles inland and you see countless broken-down little wood shacks that the farm workers live in that barely have a roof over them. Such disparity. Some having so much, while others have so little. Just don't seem right.
Some people just learn to be happy with what they have. There really should be less of a distinction between rich and poor people. We should all just be humans and not have to worry about all these silly titles. There really should not be any "rich" or "poor".
