I just think since the 1970s, people have become just way too casual. I have a picture of my dad at a baseball game in St. Louis in the early 1960s. He and all the men in his section are wearing coats and ties. Remember I said the early 1960s not 1920s.
I even see people in business situations that look like total slobs. I don't want to see your tattoo, your piercings etc. when I'm conducting business.
Someone recently wrote about how many guys don't want to be adults today. You see men out with their sons and dad looks more like a friend than a dad, backwards baseball cap, t-shirt playing video games.
Back in the day, men were men and boys were boys and there was a separation between the two.
All of this is connected even though I might not be making myself clear as I didn't get much sleep last night.
