Very true.....
Lots of people in the world with less material possessions are a lot happier than us (Americans and Western Europeans). We are convinced, things are getting worse, and our children (or the next generation) will not have a life as good as ours, for many reasons: global warming, end of oil, wars, diseases, etc.... Many people in this world (especially in Asia) have seen their life improving a lot over the last few years, and think their children will have a better life than themselves (especially thanks to education).
