If they did I would do my best to learn it because I think it would be a great thing to have a simple common language that everyone could communicate in. It would probably end much of the distrust and hatred that peoples of the world have for each other if they could understand each other better.
Of course, I do agree with this. But the only way for each of us to make things change is to start learning esperanto, if we believe it will be good for the world.
If everyone waits for the other to make the first step, it will never happen.
