Well I must admit I don't keep up with current music now- when rap and hip-hop took over I simply abandon current music stations and only listen to oldies stations- if any. Probably more to internet music than anything- so if there is music out today other than rap and Hip-hop I don't know about it.
I really miss the music videos. I watched MTV and TBS a lot back in the 1980s- there were so many great videos back then- I hardly ever see music-videos any more- and the few I have have been cheaply made and very unimaginative compared to those of the 1980s. It's too bad that this unique form of entertainment has been virtually lost.
