I simply can't believe you continue to ignore the unique participation of the USA in the economic meltdown caused by its almost total lack of regulation of financial markets, etc. Bone up!
As to the social climate in the US, it's about as conservative as Iraq and China, and I'll just continue to assert this isn't healthy.
