I'm not sure you can draw that connection, Bob. There was an Iranian rebellion of young people in the '90s- before the Bush invasion. It was just successfully squelched. And many others- like China's Tiananmen Square. It's just a natural thing for people- especially young people- to revolt against their government sometimes. Hell- it even happen here in the US- have you forgotten the Kent State massacre?

Furthermore, we don't know the ultimate outcome of this- and it may not be good for the US.
At least Mubarak was our ally. But the Muslim Brotherhood or other anti-Americans may assume power.
