"if a swingers group decided to have a parade that would allegedly represent heterosexuals, and the participants all dressed in elaborate make-up and bondage attire, enacted discipline/slave-master scenes, simulated sex acts, scantily clad (but not really attractive -- think, overweight & hairy men in G strings). Maybe that would fly in New Orleans or San Fran, bit in most parts of U.S., the reaction would be, "Good God! Keep them away from my town!" And it wouldn't have anything to do per se with sexual orientation."
Yes but no one would think that represents ALL straight people. Gay people are so often stereotyped. Besides what is wrong with a wild parade now and then?
