Wow . . you mean anything Congress is told, they have to believe? There is no effort at independent confirmation . . . that if a President wishes to deceive Congress, all he need do is instruct the entire intelligence aparatus . . not to mention British intelligence, which also claimed that Saddam was a threat . . and going back to the Clinton days, when some in his Administration, including Clinton himself, claimed Saddam was a threat . . . all one need do is arrange to have ALL THESE PEOPLE AND AGENCIES involved in the deception, and viola!, Congress (actually just the Democrats) are absolved of any wrong-doing and needn't take any responsibility for their voting?
So simply . . why didn't someone think of this before!
