Hi Everyone !
I'm still here but lately just lurking...glad to see the board is still very active! I have to say kudos to Michaela for putting her money where her mouth is! WOW what courage! I wish I had the courage to freeboob with such sexy tops. (I like the white one btw).
In fact, I am inspired so much that last night my partner and I discussed the boards (he often reads with me) and decided I have had enough.
I made the decision (with his support) that I am stopping wearing bras altogether, and am going to get rid of ALL the ones I own.
Beginning next weekend, I will do so as we had planned on spring cleaning and purging stuff (we sold our house and are moving ). We already tossed the few last night that I had in my bottom drawer, and plan on shopping for camisoles and undershirts and such tomorrow after work.
I have been thinking about doing this for quite some time (well over a decade in fact), and now I've finally mustered up the courage to actually follow though with it. Actually Michaela suggested I do this several months ago, as I often would reach for a bra in the morning before work out of habit (I seldom went free to the office). REally Michaela's advice makes alot of sense, you can't wear what you dont' have, and it's the only true way of breaking completely free from the habit without going back. Weaning off them just doesnt' work, at least it didn't for me.
The weird thing is, I don't even fear going to work without a bra on like I used to. If anything, coming to this decision is a huge relief!!!!! It's really hard to describe. I guess I really hated wearing bras more than I thought I did. And believe me, I HATED wearing a bra.
Whew, finally freed !!!
