Thanks for the appreciation . . . and way to go on being married 36 years. That, as we all agree, is very difficult these days. I apologize to you and other members who might have felt attacked by me. I do get carried away sometimes. I guess its better to take aggression out on a message board than behind the wheel or in a bar. I've heard of "road rage" . . . is there "net rage"? John?
Nat, I will try to be less confrontational. Still, if its a discussion, don't you want/expect more than just one side? I think its unfair to blame the relative lack of female participation here on me. I was gone for a month. I don't post to every thread. If someone posted a question or topic and didn't want me to respond, all they have to do is say so. No one should use me as an excuse for their being too shy to post a picture. My condemnations of what I think is "unattractive" have been generalities . . . I don't personally attack other members. And, I offer personal parts of myself, rather than just quoting stats or research findings.
Tell you what: My "gift" to the site is I will post less often . . say, no more than three times per day . . and no long dissertations . . no matter how long some others' posts in opposition might be. How's that? That should remove any concerns that I am adversely affecting this fourm. Obviously, I enjoy coming here and don't want to be banned.
